Details
Bubble Combo - first and basic play mode that uses all the operators (unlocked). Initially it would just be counting the number of bubbles and matching them up based on color. There should be at least two matches for each number and color with up to ten matches. Red denotes negative numbers and blue is for non-negative numbers.
Bubble Map - contains the operator progress tree the player can follow and show the current state of progress. Black holes represent operators that are locked. Once unlocked, various stars reflect different mastery of the operator. The stars can be infused to be included in the combo play mode pool or defused to be excluded.
Factoids - all the historical, cultural or interesting facts about 99 locations in the world. There are three control lists: ⊆ - Entries, U - World and ∩ - Tour. The top toolbar has all the different controls for listening, reading or displaying each location.
Book of Adventures - All the entries in ⊆ are a page in this book that can be flipped through. The player can see the full and unobstructed view of the location. They are allowed to zoom and pan the picture to see any interesting details. All the location specific functionalities from Factoids are available through the same top toolbar. The toolbar's visibility is controlled through tapping.
Settings - Control voice, effects and music volumes along with the animation speed. Game Center Leaderboards can also be accessed here to check anytime.
Factoids View
U stands for universal set and is just the list of all the 99 Locations in alphabetical order. ⊆ is the subset or the entries the player has unlocked. ∩ is the intersection of entries and selection to be used during the play modes. The game will randomly select which one to display and tour through the ∩ list. Can select/unselect them using ⊆ control list or just unselect them through ∩ list. The player can read all the facts by pressing the Info button. Voice recording is available through the Play button and each sentence along with the progress bar will be displayed. Changing the progress bar's position will change the position of the recording being played. Pressing the ♫ button will open up the list of all the music specific to the Region of the Location. Pressing the X button will close Factoids and get back to the Main Menu. Book⊆ icon is for opening the Book of Adventures from Factoids. There are three play modes specifically accessible from factoids: Sentence, Visit one Location and Visit five Locations. Sentence is also available in Book of Adventures.
Play Modes
Bubble Map and Factoids offer additional play modes focusing on specific operators. The player can see the different modes already unlocked by pressing on one of the operator star in the Bubble Map. In Factoids, the Voice icon will enter the sentence mode while the World icon will bring up an additional menu. World icon menu allows the player to go to a random location by using "Study a Location" option. They can also choose to take a quiz around the world by visiting one or five places. By identifying the name of the location, region and the song from that region, the player can demonstrate their world knowledge.
Pressing the hourglass icon will toggle the timer digit display to on/off.
Combo (=) mode - it is a play mode that gets expressions from all the infused (selected) stars from the Bubble Map. Pop the bubbles in groups of the same value. There should be at least two matches for each value with up to ten matches. The value can be displayed as a number symbol, cluster of bubbles or an expression. Hourglass icon will display Equal sign.
All Matches (=) mode - just like the combo play mode, the player should pop the bubbles by groups of the same value. The expressions are limited to the operator the player chose. Mastering this mode will unlock the Ascending/Descending modes for the operator and the Bubble Map will be changed to display a yellow star at the operator. Hourglass icon will display Equal sign.
Ascending (>) mode - only one bubble per value is shown and should pop starting from the lowest value. For red bubble clusters, they should be treated as equivalent negative numbers. Note that big negative numbers are considered the lowest value. Hourglass icon will display greater than sign since each successive bubble is greater in value.
Descending (<) mode - equivalent to ascending except the order starts from the highest value. Mastery of either ascending or descending is considered the same and will be shown with a red star at the operator. Hourglass icon will display less than sign in yellow since each successive bubble is lesser in value.
Sentence (>) mode - follow along the voice recording of the sentence and pop from the first word. The first words are capitalized so it will not be the same as all lower case word. Hourglass icon will display greater than sign due to increasing position of the bubbles in the sentence order.
Visit One Location (=) mode - identify the picture by popping the bubble that contains its name. Also figure out which region it belongs to and the song that is playing from that particular region. Once all three are identified then the rest of the bubbles are popped automatically with them being counted as correct. Any incorrect popping will reduce the max energy harnessed. Hourglass icon will display Equal sign since it is finding the equivalent relations between the audio and visual cues to the bubbles.
Visit Five Locations (=) mode - identify the name, region and the song for five locations instead of just one. Once all the correct bubbles are popped for the first location, it will go to the next location. The energy harnessed in total will be applied to all five locations, giving the 5x in boost by playing this harder mode. Hourglass icon will display Equal sign in yellow since it is finding equivalent relations between the audio and visual cues to the bubbles for each location.
Bubble Map
Each operator in the Bubble Map starts out as Blue stars once they are unlocked. When defused or unselected for combo play mode, the operator will display a grey star. Mastery of the operators will be illustrated by the star at their location. The player can unlock additional playing modes once they finish with high accuracy and within the time limit. Each star offers bonuses for having achieve them but they only count once. For example, going from blue to white gives 10% but advancing to yellow after will yield 10% additional bonus. Going straight to yellow from blue will give the 20% bonus all at once.
★ White Star (=) - high accuracy, 10% bonus
★ Yellow Star (=) - high accuracy + speed (1.9 secs per), 20% bonus
★ Orange Star (> <) - high accuracy, 10% bonus
★ Red Star (> <) - high accuracy + speed (1.5 secs per), 25% bonus
Supernova (S) - Coming Soon, 15% bonus
