300 is called the divisor, and 360 is called the dividend. The answer to this problem is called the quotient.

There are two ways to solve the problem.


Method 1: Decimal Long Division

Step 1: Do long division until you run out of digits in the dividend.

Step 2: Add 0's after the decimal point and continue dividing. This gives does not change the value of the dividend. Keep dividing until the remainder is 0.
