Commutative Property 2

You learned earlier about the commutative propery of addition.

The commutative property also applies to multiplication.

Here is an example of the commutative property:

The answer is the same no matter the order of the numbers.
3 * 4 = 12 4 * 3 = 12

Just like with addition, this property holds true even if you have more than two operands.

2 * 3 * 4 = 24
3 * 4 * 2 = 24
