Congruent and Similar Triangles

Congruent triangles have the same shape and size.
Triangles are congruent if all their corresponding sides and angles are equal.

Shortcut:

If all three corresponding sides are equal, the triangles are congruent.

Similar triangles have the same shape but not the same size.
Triangles are similar if all their corresponding angles are equal and corresponding sides are the same proportion.

Shortcut:

If two corresponding angles are equal, the triangles are similar.
