PROVEN MATH APP NOW SUPPORTS IPADS
-- No Flash Support on an iPad? No Problem! --
PALO ALTO, Calif., January 19, 2011 - Accurate Learning Systems Corporation today announced iPad support for MathScore.com, the premier online adaptive math practice program.
Schools that purchased iPads are faced with the simple reality that there isn't much viable math software support. Most iPad apps do not provide high quality performance tracking for large groups of students, and most of today's educational websites require a plug-in such as Flash. MathScore.com, however, never required such plug-ins. Although MathScore is not an "iPad app", it now works smoothly on iPad devices.
Developed by MIT graduates, MathScore has a strong history of raising student test scores for students from 1st grade through Algebra I. In addition, MathScore tracks student performance in great detail, empowering teachers to track progress efficiently and make data-driven decisions.
To achieve iPad compatibility, MathScore now auto-detects the Safari web browser on an iPad and customizes its interface. A specialized keypad appears whenever students need to enter their responses, making numeric and alphanumeric input convenient at all times.
Now, any school customer can use MathScore on an iPad without doing anything special. Students and teachers can switch between using MathScore on a conventional computer and an iPad without making any configuration changes and without installing any software. As a result, students who use MathScore on an iPad at school can still log in after school from the library, a home computer, etc.
"iPads have tremendous potential for K-12 environments." explained Steven Yang, founder and CEO of Accurate Learning Systems Corporation. "We are excited that we can deliver the full MathScore experience on an iPad without any compromises."
MathScore helps students become better at math by providing unlimited, adaptive math practice. Developed by MIT graduates, MathScore is proven to raise test scores, and trusted by schools and individual families worldwide. MathScore is appropriate for first grade through Algebra I. The MathScore practice and assessment environment also provides automated remediation, enabling efficient differentiated instruction with minimal teacher effort.
