NEW MATH-WORKSHEETS-GENERATOR.COM HELPS TEACHERS CREATE HOMEWORK OR POP QUIZZES FOR FREE

-- Teachers Can Improve Math Skills With Practice Using a Single Worksheet for the Whole Class, or Unique Individual Practice Worksheets --

PALO ALTO, Calif., February 13, 2008 - Accurate Learning Systems Corporation today unveiled a web site that generates unique math facts worksheets for any first through eighth grade teacher. The Math Worksheets Generator web site is available to any teacher for free at <www.math-worksheets-generator.com>.

Now for the first time, any teacher, homeschooler or parent can create and print unique worksheets for student math facts practice or testing at no charge. Teachers can reproduce the same math facts worksheet for the whole class, or create a different individual worksheet for each student to render moot any attempts to cheat. Teachers can also dynamically adjust difficulty and create a corresponding answer key. Homeschoolers and parents can also use the system to create math facts practice homework.

"The Math Worksheets Generator system provides a resource for any teacher or parent to create unique math-worksheets for free," explained Steven Yang, founder and CEO of Accurate Learning Systems Corporation. "Teachers can print them out and use them as traditional timed tests."

The Math Worksheets Generator is freely available from MathScore.com as the result of a survey of its own student proficiency data. In this survey, the company found that student proficiency "before" engaging in extensive math practice showed that across the United States fewer than 1-in-5 fifth graders knew their multiplication tables and less than 1-in-4 knew their addition tables (see related release, dated today).

"Since starting MathScore, we had focused on establishing the before-and-after efficacy of using our particular math practice environment," explained Yang. "It wasn't until recently that the question arose of comparatively examining only the 'before' data sets. When we saw the consistency we were shocked. We had to do something more. We concluded that with our healthy company growth, we could justify leveraging part of the system to provide a free resource to everyone. This way, even schools that don't have the infrastructure to use MathScore can at least take advantage of this free resource." "Every teacher already knows that math facts mastery leads to a deeper understanding of math," Yang concluded. "We hope teachers, homeschoolers and parents make regular use of this unique, dynamic and free resource. We hope it's used so much that we have to add equipment."

How Math Worksheets Generator Works The Math Worksheets Generator is freely available at for any teacher or educator to create unique math facts practice worksheets and corresponding answer keys. The Math Worksheets Generator gives teachers significant control over the layout and difficulty of the problems. Math worksheets can be used for homework or timed tests and quizzes. The Math Worksheets Generator is highly customizable and powered by the technology engine used for MathScore.com.
