Press Release

MATHSCORE 5.0 NOW AVAILABLE

Mountain View, Calif., Oct 25, 2011 - Accurate Learning Systems Corporation today announced their latest release, MathScore 5.0.

The new release features an exciting set of avatars and themes. As students make progress by mastering math topics, they gradually unlock new avatars that can encourage them as they do their work. They can also unlock new background themes that add strong visual appeal to the environment.

As is the case with the other awards in MathScore, avatars and themes can only be unlocked if the student truly masters new material. As a result, when students unlock these awards, they already feel good about themselves for mastering a new topic, so the awards feel justified and are therefore much more effective than if they came easily or randomly.

"Frankly, MathScore was already sufficiently motivational before we added the avatars and themes." explained Steven Yang, founder and CEO of Accurate Learning Systems Corporation. "However, it doesnt' hurt to make a good thing more fun, and we've succeeded in adding the fun without hurting the integrity of our academic core."

In addiiton, MathScore 5.0 boasts a powerful new Early Skills assessment tool for grades K-3 as well as a host of new math topics, all aligned to the Common Core Standards.

MathScore helps students become better at math by providing unlimited, adaptive math practice. Developed by MIT graduates, MathScore is proven to raise test scores, and trusted by schools and individual families worldwide. MathScore is appropriate for Kindergarten through Algebra I. The MathScore practice and assessment environment also provides automated remediation, enabling efficient differentiated instruction with minimal teacher effort.
