Long Addition
Large number addition. Goal is to accurately solve addition with large operands (2 digits or more) reasonably quickly and build up skill to solve harder and harder problems. You will probably have to work these out on paper.
This topic aligns to the following state standards
Grade 1: NS 2.6 Solve addition and subtraction problems with one-and two-digit numbers (e.g., 5 + 58 = __).
Grade 3: NS 2.1 Find the sum or difference of two whole numbers between 0 and 10,000.
Grade 4: NS 3.1 Demonstrate an understanding of, and the ability to use, standard algorithms for the addition and subtraction of multidigit numbers.
