Simple addition with 2 operands. For example, 9+5, 5+2, etc. The focus here is to build up speed.
This topic aligns to the following state standards
Grade 1: Num 2. Solves basic addition facts using concrete objects and thinking strategies, such as count on, count back, doubles, doubles plus one, and make ten.
Grade 2: Num 1. Recalls (from memory) the addition facts and corresponding subtraction facts.
