Long Addition
Large number addition. Goal is to accurately solve addition with large operands (2 digits or more) reasonably quickly and build up skill to solve harder and harder problems. You will probably have to work these out on paper.
This topic aligns to the following state standards
Grade 3: 1. Use addition of up to three whole number addends, containing up to four digits each in real-world and mathematical problems.
Grade 4: 1. Use addition and subtraction of multi-digit whole numbers to solve multi-step real-world and mathematical problems.
Grade 5: 1. Use addition, subtraction, multiplication and division of multi-digit whole numbers to solve multi-step, real-world and mathematical problems.
